Counselling Student

Currently studying for my Bachelor’s of Social Science (Counsellor) at MIT. Have successfully completed year two with one more year to complete. I bring a broad range of life experiences. I am also involved with the Salvation Army where I perform welfare duties voluntarily and provide counselling services on a regular basis as apart of my practicum placement.

Areas of Interest:

I have a strong interest in Alcohol and Drug addictions, Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Grief and Relationship Issues. My learning has been based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Humanistic Therapy and Behavioural Interventions. Helping people realise that there are other alternatives that may be useful in the future.
